Our Mission

To curate an experience for parents to be that will give them access to trusted professionals to cover every birth related need. This is a chance to meet and mingle with professionals that will help you to develop a rock-solid support network from pregnancy through the 4th trimester.

Our Host

Erin Carroll-Manning, the founder of Gentle Giraffes, is a trained Master Newborn Care Specialist (NCS), trained Postpartum Doula (PPD), Car Seat Tech, and Trained lactation support specialist. In addition to these I am trained in Respectful Care for Newborns, Infants and Toddlers as well as a newborn sleep specialist, among others. I have enjoyed working in the private childcare industry for over 25yrs before I branched off to specialize in educating and supporting families during the last few months of pregnancy through the 4th trimester.

During those years I saw so many families who needed that extra special support helping them transition to parenthood even if it was their fourth, fifth or even first child. They just needed a little extra love and care to help them navigate those first few weeks to few months while their bodies recover and the fog has lifted. The birthing parent just needs that self-care and guidance. This is when I decided I needed to help families understand these times and get the village they need to support them. Gentle Giraffes Newborn & Family Services was birthed.
