Your Six Week Care Experience

Your Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) arrives in the evening. She comes in and is there to answer any of your questions, shows you how to care for your baby, and quietly assumes responsibility for your baby’s overnight care. While you rest, your NCS manages feeding support, diapering, soothing, settling, bottle and pump care, putting milk away when applicable, and documentation of your baby’s nighttime patterns.

For breastfeeding families, your baby can come to you for feeding and then return to the NCS for burping, changing, soothing, and resettling. This allows you to remain involved in feeding while receiving more rest in between sessions.

Our Goals by the End of Six Weeks

While every baby and family progresses differently, our goals are to help you leave this experience with:

  • Greater confidence in caring for and understanding your newborn
  • More manageable and consistent overnight rhythms
  • A beginning foundation for healthy sleep and development
  • Better awareness of your baby’s feeding and comfort patterns
  • Practical soothing and settling strategies
  • Meaningful physical and emotional recovery
  • A clearer understanding of what your baby may need next
  • The reassurance of having experienced support through the earliest transition

This package is best suited for families who want focused professional support during the first several weeks of healing and recovery while remaining closely involved in their baby’s care.

This package includes much more than 12 overnight shifts. Your investment includes a professional newborn expert in your home, individualized observation, parent education, care documentation, between-shift guidance, and a thoughtful foundation that can help your family feel more rested and prepared as you move into the next stage.
